Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create a detailed project estimate that includes a Bill of Materials (BOM) and a breakdown of labor costs.

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams across all Zeus locations.

• Prepare estimates for fire and security projects in conjunction with the CoE Estimating Manager.

• Develop compliant designs for small-scale projects.

• Independently produce estimates and related documentation for small systems.

• Conduct site visits and surveys for minor projects.

• Maintain organized drawing files, records, and documentation.

• Work together with engineering teams, sales personnel, project management, and contractors.

• Review and validate small project estimates to ensure compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Six months of experience with fire protection and security systems.

• Knowledgeable about the I Codes (e.g., IBC, IMC, etc.).

• Familiar with NFPA standards (e.g., 70, 72, 13, etc.).

• Field experience in the installation and/or testing of fire alarm and/or security systems is advantageous.

• NICET FAS Level I certification is mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is essential.

• Experience with Salesforce, PROS, Building Reports, and NetSuite is preferred.

• Capable of reading and interpreting construction documents.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently.
