This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Execute essential tasks related to estimating, project management, and field construction teams in a prompt and precise manner.
• Prepare take-offs from architectural plans.
• Generate shop drawings and submittals.
• Evaluate upcoming bids for size and specific requirements such as public and prevailing wage, EEO, bid bonds, allowances, etc.
• Keep project records updated and maintained as needed.
• Offer assistance to estimators and project managers as required.
• Cultivate and sustain knowledge of waterproofing, air barrier, and fireproofing products and their installation techniques.
• Carry out additional tasks similar to those mentioned above.
• Aid in formulating cost estimates by performing take-offs of plans related to lighting fixtures.
• This role involves counting fixtures in project blueprints and relaying that information to our quotations team.
• Analyze project requirements, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with various stakeholders to guarantee precise project cost forecasting.
• Education: Associate degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction, including familiarity with materials management and project operations.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and estimating from plans.
• Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Positive and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with building and estimating techniques, as well as software platforms such as ISqFt, Building Connected, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid, Bluebeam/PDF, PlanGrid, Procore, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to sit for prolonged periods while using a computer and reviewing plans/specifications.
