Estate Planning Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with advisors and clients to deliver comprehensive estate planning services.

• Create and execute sophisticated estate planning strategies tailored for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

• Evaluate estate planning documents, which include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.

• Oversee estate planning projects from the initial consultation phase through drafting, execution, and implementation.

• Serve as the estate-planning subject matter expert in partnership with Wealth Managers and Advisors.

• Provide education to clients regarding estate-planning issues.

• Address complex legal and financial matters related to estate planning and potential tax ramifications.

• Work alongside outside counsel and other professional advisors on complex, multistate, and interdisciplinary issues.

• Stay informed about legal matters impacting practice areas.

• Track legislative, regulatory, and case-law changes.

• Revise planning strategies and document templates as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor degree are required.

• At least 7 years of pertinent experience is essential.

• Extensive experience in estate planning, including trusts, wills, advance medical directives, and work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

• Proven track record of successfully navigating and resolving complex estate planning challenges.

• Advanced communication and influencing abilities regarding intricate issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, technically proficient, and an enthusiastic, effective team leader.

• Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce, and PowerPoint is required.
