This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Create essential planning documents: Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, dynasty trusts, special needs trusts, pour-over wills, powers of attorney, health care surrogate designations, living wills, and various advanced directives.
β’ Develop and execute planning strategies: Construct estate plans for high-net-worth clients, incorporating tax-efficient transfers, asset protection measures, and business succession planning.
β’ Provide guidance on tax and asset protection matters: Advise clients on federal estate and gift tax implications, Florida homestead considerations, creditor protection, and proper asset titling.
β’ Collaborate with allied professionals: Work closely with financial advisors, family offices, CPAs, insurance experts, and internal staff to ensure integrated and effective planning.
β’ Assess and revise existing plans: Review prior estate strategies, identify potential gaps or risks, and propose updates that align with client objectives and current legislation.
β’ Offer client counseling and education: Simplify complex concepts into understandable terms and assist clients in navigating emotionally sensitive planning choices.
β’ Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in estate planning.
β’ LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation.
β’ Willingness to travel within common practice areas - Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade counties.
β’ Proven experience managing high-net-worth clients and intricate estates.
β’ Strong drafting abilities and confidence in handling planning and probate documents independently.
β’ Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and ability to follow through.
β’ Capacity to work remotely with consistent professionalism and responsiveness.
β’ Good judgment and discretion in sensitive or high-value situations.
β’ Preferred experience with complex estate plans and tax-driven strategies.
β’ Proficient in Clio, LexisNexis, or similar platforms.
β’ Ability to work from anywhere in Florida with flexible scheduling.
