This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Engage in projects focused on the implementation, expansion, maintenance, and optimization of medium to large-scale IP networks;
• Actively participate in designing and evolving the internal network architecture, aiming for scalable, resilient, and operationally efficient topologies;
• Write, review, and apply complex configurations on routers and switches, while providing technical guidance to internal teams and third parties during maintenance windows;
• Configure, manage, and offer level-three support for multi-vendor equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.);
• Work directly with routing protocols and service transport (iBGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, or *Segment Routing*);
• Support the development and integration of the IP/MPLS backbone with metropolitan, aggregation, and access networks;
• Manage BNG/BRAS environments, overseeing subscriber connectivity, authentication, routing, service policies, and integration with RADIUS;
• Lead and contribute to CGNAT projects, pool expansions, internal routing, integration with BNGs, log retention, and operational support;
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting on complex network incidents (loops, packet loss, latency, asymmetry, convergence failures, and outages);
• Plan, validate, and monitor critical technical changes and migrations in production environments;
• Utilize monitoring tools, traffic analysis (NetFlow/sFlow/IPFIX), telemetry, and packet capture for diagnosis and fault prevention;
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, NOC, Security, and technical partners to ensure network stability, standardization, and quality.
• Solid and proven experience in large-scale IP networks, gained exclusively in internet service providers (ISPs), regional carriers, or operators;
• Strong hands-on experience in IP/MPLS backbone engineering, metropolitan networks, aggregation, BNG/BRAS environments, and CGNAT architectures;
• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols and infrastructure concepts: TCP/IP, iBGP, OSPF, or IS-IS, and traffic engineering with MPLS (LDP, RSVP, *Segment Routing*);
• Proficiency in configuring and operating high-performance devices from Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei;
• Deep understanding of internal routing architecture, involving VRFs, routing policies, *route reflectors*, and route redistribution;
• Experience with access networks and subscriber delivery (PPPoE, IPoE, RADIUS, public/private pools, and NAT44);
• Ability to lead critical incidents under pressure, demonstrating quick decision-making and clear executive communication;
• Completed degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• **Desirable Certifications**
• Professional or specialist-level certifications will be considered strong differentiators (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, Huawei HCIP/HCIE, Nokia SRA, or equivalents focused on *Service Provider* or *Routing & Switching*).
