This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Conduct thorough reviews, quality assurance, and authorization of escrow disbursements for Real Estate Taxes, Insurance, and Mortgage Insurance to guarantee accuracy, promptness, and adherence to servicing standards before fund release.
• Oversee and verify escrow balances to detect shortages, surpluses, and deficiencies, ensuring precise communication with borrowers and timely resolution of issues.
• Perform comprehensive escrow analyses and evaluations, including the validation of payment histories, anticipated disbursements, and suggested adjustments in alignment with investor and servicing requirements.
• Provide support and review for the annual escrow analysis process, including the validation of calculations, examination of borrower notifications, and resolution of complex inquiries.
• Act as a subject matter expert on complex escrow matters, such as tax delinquencies, insurance cancellations, and discrepancies, offering guidance and facilitating the resolution of escalated issues.
• Function as a critical control point within the escrow workflow, ensuring compliance with servicing agreements, internal policies, and regulatory stipulations.
• Collaborate across various departments, including Servicing, Finance, Investor Reporting, and Asset Management to address discrepancies and uphold data integrity and accurate system postings.
• Identify and facilitate process enhancements, including workflow improvements and control fortification to boost efficiency, precision, and consistency.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of procedures and training materials, ensuring uniform execution and aiding in the onboarding process of team members.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in commercial loan servicing or escrow operations, with a strong grasp of escrow analysis, disbursements, and investor requirements (Agency experience is preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of tax cycles, insurance requirements, and escrow methodologies, with the capability to independently review and validate intricate scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed reviews, quality control, and approvals with sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, emphasizing data accuracy and integrity.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating across teams and with external partners.
• Proficient in loan servicing systems (e.g., Strategy/McCracken) and Excel.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
