Escalator Engineer – Nights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of escalators and moving walkways throughout Greater London, including Gatwick and Stansted railway stations.

• Execute maintenance tasks, repairs, and emergency callouts for escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.

• Ensure critical passenger equipment functions safely and reliably.

• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.

• Uphold high standards in service delivery, safety, and customer support.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Maintain site log cards during each visit.

• Work with KONE TM, RTV and RTK units; Schindler 9300 escalators; Anlev systems; and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Engage with major rail stations, underground systems, and airport connections.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering is required.

• Demonstrated experience in working with escalators and moving walkways.

• A valid UK driving license is mandatory.

• Experienced escalator engineer residing within the M25 area.

• Applicants must possess the necessary right to work.

• Sponsorship is not an option.

• Availability to work from 19:00 to 07:00, on a 4 on 4 off basis, with 12-hour shifts including a 45-minute unpaid break.
