Escalator Engineer – Days

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of various prominent escalator systems throughout Greater London's rail and transport hubs.

• Provide service, maintenance, and repairs for escalators and moving walkways at key rail and underground locations.

• Work with KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Execute maintenance, repairs, and emergency callouts for escalators and moving walkways from multiple manufacturers.

• Uphold exceptional standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments during each site visit.

• Maintain accurate site log cards during every visit.

• Operate throughout Greater London, including additional responsibilities at Gatwick Airport station and Stansted Airport station.

• Work from 7:00 to 19:00 on a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid break.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated experience in working with escalators and moving walkways.

• A valid UK driving license is required.

• Experienced escalator engineer residing within the M25 area.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

• Applicants must possess the appropriate right to work.

• Sponsorship is not available for this position.
