Escalator Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of various prominent escalator systems at major rail and underground locations.

• Service, maintain, and perform repairs on escalators and moving walkways.

• Execute maintenance, repairs, and emergency callouts on escalators and moving walkways from multiple manufacturers.

• Work with KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Identify faults in both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ensure exceptional service delivery, safety standards, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Keep site log cards updated during each visit.

• Operate within the transport infrastructure sector of the Scotland Central Belt.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must possess a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification with strong technical skills.

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and performing minor repairs on electrical, mechanical, or electronic equipment in customer settings.

• Proficiency in using computers or PDAs is essential.

• Capability to utilize a mobile communications device for logging calls and accessing customer and equipment data.

• Applicants must have the appropriate right to work; sponsorship is not available.
