ERP S4 HANA Project Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Formulate test strategies, readiness evaluations, plans, and cases to ensure alignment with program specifications.

• Facilitate teams in executing test activities alongside various team members and stakeholders, while tracking progress, managing defects, and escalating issues as necessary.

• Create strategic test methodologies, which may involve the use of third-party solutions or tools.

• Document and follow test management processes and best practices to guarantee that all tasks, activities, and resources are aligned with the overall program and organizational objectives.

• Supervise the creation of both automated and manual test cases.

• Coordinate the testing phases, including unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define the test scope, objectives, and success criteria.

• Manage test environments, data preparation, and schedules for test execution.

• Lead defect triage meetings to ensure prompt resolution and retesting.

• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and the organization's QA standards.

• Provide stakeholders and project leadership with status reports and metrics.

• Work closely with business users, consultants, and offshore teams to guarantee adequate test coverage and readiness.

• Propel test progress to ensure compliance with the overall project timeline.

• Manage resources effectively, understanding the test team's workload, potential constraints, and ensuring optimal utilization throughout the testing phase.

• Engage in proactive risk management: identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor potential risks, providing real-time alerts for critical issues.

• Communicate expectations clearly and foster accountability among test team members.

• Address conflicts, encourage work-sharing, and motivate teams toward shared objectives.

• Oversee multiple test activities, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management to fulfill program goals.

• Additional duties include documentation, communication with stakeholders, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience OR, in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• Practical experience with test management tools such as qTest, ALM, or similar platforms.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional testing across various workstreams, including managing onsite-offshore testing teams and ensuring deliverable alignment.

• Previous involvement in SAP upgrade or implementation projects.

• Familiarity with multiple methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% to other major RTX US locations (e.g., Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).
