ERP Configuration and Development Specialist – NetSuite, Certinia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle implementation of ERP systems (including NetSuite, Certinia, or similar platforms).

• Configure ERP modules encompassing finance, accounting, PSA, billing, revenue recognition, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes.

• Convert financial and business needs into adaptable ERP system designs.

• Create and develop customized solutions utilizing platform tools, scripting, and extensions (such as NetSuite SuiteScript, Certinia configuration tools, etc.).

• Design and maintain integrations with CRM, banking, billing, payroll, and third-party systems.

• Execute data migration, cleansing, mapping, and validation from legacy systems.

• Generate reports, dashboards, and financial analytics to assist FP&A and operational reporting.

• Work in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT stakeholders to enhance ERP workflows.

• Offer technical guidance on ERP architecture, configuration standards, and best practices.

• Aid in testing, deployment, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Diagnose system issues and continually improve ERP performance and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in ERP system configuration, development, or implementation.

• Deep understanding of the financial/accounting domain (including GL, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Billing, etc.).

• Practical experience with NetSuite, Certinia, or equivalent ERP platforms (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday Financials, Acumatica, etc.).

• Proficient in ERP configuration, workflows, scripting, and/or customization.

• Robust integration experience utilizing APIs, middleware, or iPaaS tools.

• Background in data migration and financial data mapping.

• Capability to translate business/finance requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication abilities with both technical and finance stakeholders.

• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
