Equipment Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Delivers repair services to clients in a respectful and professional manner.

• May also offer basic installation services to clients on an as-needed basis.

• Executes all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.

• Follows appropriate troubleshooting procedures to identify errors related to technical issues and determine suitable solutions.

• Understands customer needs and provides relevant recommendations to enhance the customer experience.

• Maintains and oversees adequate inventory levels in the service vehicle.

• Generates timely and detailed service reports.

• Communicates promptly with all Team Members and HUB dispatchers, ensuring everyone is updated on the progress of assignments.

• Completes all work orders within the specified timeframe.

• Reviews work orders with the client or a designated staff member before leaving the site.

• Ensures all work orders are closed daily and submitted for billing purposes.

• Submits all job-related documentation within the required deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically, 2 or more years of field service experience with proven proficiency.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience in customer service.

• Generally requires a High School diploma, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training.

• An Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.

• Fundamental troubleshooting abilities.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
