Equine Field Representative, Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with potential clients in the equine industry.

• Sustain, enhance, and broaden connections with targeted equine clientele.

• Act as a technical resource for clients, retailers, and internal teams.

• Perform market and pricing analyses, along with sales and promotional activities.

• Keep track of customer and competitor behaviors as well as industry trends.

• Aid in business expansion by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Independently address moderately complex issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in animal science, animal nutrition, or a related discipline.

• At least two years of relevant work experience.

• Certified Agronomist designation (agr.) is required and must be in good standing in Quebec.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both written and spoken).

• Willingness to travel for work throughout Quebec up to 80% of the time.

• Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license (full class) in good standing.

• Legally authorized to work for Cargill in Canada.

• Over 5 years of experience in equine nutrition, technical sales, agronomy, or related fields (PREFERRED).

• Master’s degree in animal nutrition, veterinary sciences, or a related discipline (PREFERRED).

• Experience integrating technical knowledge with consultative sales (PREFERRED).

• Comfortable with presenting, training, and coaching both customers and internal teams (PREFERRED).
