This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.
• Plans, designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports the requirements of Epic software.
• Analyzes and identifies system requirements and specifications.
• Conducts and documents workflow analysis while assessing user experience.
• Supports and maintains environments or applications utilizing domain expertise.
• Develops and updates documentation and training materials related to application implementation.
• Applies knowledge of Epic to configure modifications within the Epic environments, ensuring standardized and comprehensive workflows.
• Resolves issues, performs routine maintenance, updates systems with new functionalities to fulfill end-user requirements, and integrates new technologies.
• Offers guidance and support to end-users to improve their use of Epic, providing solutions to address end-user system challenges.
• Independently contributes to and manages small to medium projects.
• Keeps stakeholders informed in a timely manner about progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues.
• Engages in problem-solving and root cause analysis to address routine to moderately complex issues.
• A minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience in one or more Epic modules is required.
• A preference for 3+ years of experience within the Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Claims, Patient Access, Billing).
• A preference for 3+ years of experience with Epic EMR or other EMR applications.
• Capability to manage analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks at basic to moderate complexities.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills for assigned responsibilities.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills to cultivate strong working relationships that promote optimal teamwork.
• Strong organizational capabilities to manage priorities effectively.
• Demonstrates an understanding of project management principles related to assigned tasks.
• Must obtain Epic Application Certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• Preferred Epic Certification in Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Hospital Claims.
