
Epic Systems Analyst – Resolute Hospital Billing, Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.
• Plans, designs, develops, tests, implements, and supports the requirements of Epic software.
• Analyzes and establishes system requirements and specifications.
• Conducts and documents workflow analysis while assessing user experience.
• Provides support and maintenance for environments or applications utilizing domain expertise.
• Creates and updates documentation and training materials related to the application implementation.
• Leverages knowledge of Epic to configure changes within the Epic environments, ensuring standardized and comprehensive workflows.
• Resolves issues, performs routine maintenance, updates systems with new functionalities to satisfy end-user needs, and integrates new technologies.
• Offers guidance and support to end-users to enhance their utilization of Epic and provides solutions to address end-user system challenges.
• Independently contributes to and manages small to medium projects.
• Regularly updates stakeholders on the progress of assigned tasks, projects, and issues in a timely manner.
• Engages in problem-solving and root cause analysis to address routine to moderately complex issues.
• Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience in one or more Epic modules.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Claims, Patient Access, Billing).
• Preferred 3+ years of experience with Epic EMR or other electronic medical record applications.
• Capability to manage analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks at basic to moderate complexity levels.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills for assigned responsibilities.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build working relationships that encourage optimal teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills for prioritizing tasks.
• Demonstrates understanding of project management principles relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• Epic Application Certification is required within 6 months (180 days) of hiring.
• Preferred Epic Certification in Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Hospital Claims.
