Epic Orders Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Configure, deploy, and provide support for designated Epic Orders applications

• Plan, design, build, test, implement, and assist with Epic software

• Analyze and establish system requirements and specifications

• Conduct and document workflow analysis while assessing user experience

• Support and maintain applications or environments utilizing domain expertise

• Develop and uphold implementation documentation and training resources

• Implement changes within Epic environments to ensure standardized and comprehensive workflows

• Resolve issues, perform routine maintenance, update systems with new features, and integrate new technologies

• Guide and assist end-users in utilizing Epic and address end-user system concerns

• Contribute to and independently oversee small to medium-sized projects

• Provide timely progress updates to stakeholders regarding assigned tasks, projects, and issues

• Execute problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex challenges

• Identify solutions and complete necessary documentation

• Safeguard protected information, cardholder data, and confidential customer details

• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy and information security policies, the Code of Business Conduct, relevant laws, and training requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 years of experience in systems administration across one or more Epic modules

• Experience with Epic Orders is preferred

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector is preferred

• Proficient in handling analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks of basic to moderate complexity

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Strong critical thinking abilities

• Effective written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational capabilities in managing priorities

• Understanding of project management principles

• An Associate's degree is required

• 2 years of relevant work experience can substitute for an Associate's degree

• Epic Application Certification must be obtained within 6 months

• Bugsy Certification is preferred

• Proficiency in English is required

• Ability to comply with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations

• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds constantly, 10 to 25 pounds occasionally, and 25 to 50 pounds rarely
