This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.
• Accountable for conducting analysis and design of Epic application systems, which includes gathering requirements, creating specifications, configuring systems, documenting processes, testing, and implementing solutions.
• Involved in offering support for Epic applications, troubleshooting issues, conducting training sessions, and engaging in reporting activities.
• May also participate in providing support and troubleshooting for non-Epic applications that are integrated with third-party systems.
• Acts as a communication bridge between TSG groups, clients, and vendors.
• Performs in-depth analysis of Epic application designs, focusing on planning implementations and optimizing application benefits.
• Guides teammates in resolving issues, tracking problems, and delivering updates to peers, leadership, and clients.
• Oversees assigned projects and ensures deadlines are met.
• Executes highly complex tasks independently, exercising considerable discretion in judgment.
• Organizes and facilitates requirements gathering for Epic projects and requests.
• Coordinates and conducts detailed design sessions by understanding client needs and application functionalities.
• Produces reference materials, including status reports, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials for both Epic and non-Epic applications and associated technologies.
• An associate's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or business; alternatively, 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
• Must obtain and maintain at least three vendor or industry certifications as determined by management, following a primary proficiency path in Epic support applications.
• Certification or proficiency in relevant Epic module(s) must be maintained.
• Should be a proactive team player capable of working with minimal supervision, possessing strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment is essential.
• Must foster a positive and cooperative workplace atmosphere.
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines are required.
• Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities, are essential.
