This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Analyze, design, and modify software applications, which includes encoding, testing, debugging, and installing software modules.
• Conduct modifications to system preferences, along with documentation, training, and sharing of system functionalities.
• Act as a liaison among the IT Department, vendors, and clients for various systems and applications.
• Collect requirements and prioritize development projects with different departments.
• Examine workflows and implement solutions to fulfill departmental needs.
• Offer technical and application support to clients and IT personnel.
• Assist with system upgrades and large-scale projects.
• Ensure that system modifications adhere to change management procedures and protocols.
• Develop and maintain application documentation while planning and executing testing.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 client support as required.
• Support systems during daily operations and implementations.
• Collaborate with IT Educators to revise training plans and documentation.
• Mentor Epic Applications Analyst I.
• Maintain professional customer relations and adhere to assignment deadlines.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Epic build.
• At least three years of experience in computer system application modifications and support.
• A minimum of three years of PC-oriented experience, including basic word processing and spreadsheets.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Epic Certification or Accreditation in Anesthesia is required.
• Epic Optime certification is preferred.
• A minimum of an Associate degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, or Business from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other offices to meet user needs.
