This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create comprehensive project execution strategies that encompass engineering, procurement, and construction stages, detailing timelines, resource distribution, task interdependencies, and critical paths.
• Oversee and monitor project engineering outputs in alignment with the master schedule.
• Manage the submission, approval, revision control, and design interface of customer drawings.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies throughout various project phases.
• Formulate and implement procurement strategies for subcontracted fabrication, purchased components, and construction services.
• Draft RFQs, assess bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Expedite vendor services and track the delivery of materials and equipment.
• Administer subcontracts and purchase orders, addressing scope modifications, back-charges, and claims prevention.
• Organize and supervise site construction and installation tasks, including rigging, mechanical assembly, and electrical setups.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and on-site supervision; confirm contractor credentials, insurance, and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance of site operations with OSHA/MSHA safety regulations and client-specific site requirements.
• Lead equipment commissioning, startup, performance evaluation, punch-list resolution, final approval, and project handover.
• Develop project budgets and forecasts; track spending and monitor costs relative to the budget.
• Manage change orders and negotiate adjustments to costs and timelines.
• Track project advancement, identify challenges, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare and disseminate project status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain weekly communication with production, engineering, and sales teams.
• Contribute to the development of EPC project execution best practices, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to company ISO goals, policies, and procedures.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, industrial technology, or business, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in EPC, turnkey, or capital equipment projects within OEM, Industrial, or Construction environments.
• Proven field/site experience in managing installation or construction contractors.
• Familiarity with OSHA/MSHA site safety regulations.
• Experience in managing subcontracts and purchase orders, including commercial terms and change order processes.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, utilizing tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or Navisworks.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–40%, including extended periods at customer job sites during installation and commissioning phases.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
• Background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP and project management software, such as MS Project or Procore.
• PMP certification and/or OSHA 30 training is advantageous.
