Environmental Specialist – I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Examine UST facilities to ensure adherence to UST operating permit standards.

• Perform regular compliance and installation evaluations of UST facilities.

• Address citizen reports regarding abandoned USTs and suspected leaks.

• Offer guidance on UST regulations and requirements to the regulated community.

• Deliver presentations to groups of UST owners/operators for community engagement and training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years of age.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences, or a related field from an accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
