Environmental Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead internal collaborative efforts with operations, procurement, logistics, legal, and reputation teams, concentrating on the management of Grupo Boticário's proprietary reverse logistics programs;

• Analyze and oversee qualitative and quantitative data related to the circular economy pillars, sourced from internal departments and partners, to meet the Group's corporate objectives and public commitments;

• Develop and track evaluation metrics for internal initiatives to acknowledge franchisees for their environmental performance (IAF);

• Take charge of facilitating discussions within working groups focused on circular economy initiatives with the Group's international teams (Portugal, Colombia, and the USA);

• Oversee the strategy, financial viability, and performance monitoring of recycling supply chain development programs in collaboration with external partners (EPF and Reuso Recicla);

• Provide specialized technical and financial insights regarding carbon credit mechanisms generated from the Group's recycling initiatives;

• Organize the supply chain for post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in partnership with suppliers and procurement teams, with the goal of expanding influence and creating more circular, design-driven packaging;

• Proactively explore alternatives to enhance the inclusion and circularity of PCR materials through innovation and partnerships with technologies across various business sectors such as store architecture and customer experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related discipline;

• Financial acumen and robust analytical capabilities;

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred due to engagement with international teams;

• Skilled in delivering presentations at the executive level;
