This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Deliver services and support as a Technical Support (Scientist) within the Energy, Resources, and Industrials Industry Sector, concentrating on Environmental Services Solutions for clients.
β’ Offer Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Technical Support Services for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program at the Golden Field Office (GFO).
β’ The Environmental Scientist - Waste Management Technical Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert in waste management, spearheading the creation of technical sections in environmental documentation.
β’ Responsibilities encompass conducting technical reviews and ensuring quality assurance in waste management evaluations.
β’ Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners is essential to guarantee the accuracy and compliance of waste management-related documentation.
β’ Engage in regular reviews, provide comprehensive technical analysis, and uphold stringent documentation practices.
β’ Align technical contributions with the overarching project goals while complying with regulatory standards.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental analysis and documentation.
β’ Waste Management Expertise: Extensive knowledge of waste management assessment and analysis.
β’ Familiarity with waste management regulations and standards.
β’ Technical Writing: Skilled in drafting technical sections related to waste management.
β’ Ability to effectively communicate waste management findings.
β’ Review Skills: Competence in conducting technical reviews for waste management evaluations.
β’ Quality assurance skills specific to waste management documentation.
β’ Collaboration: Strong teamwork abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
