Environmental Scientist – Soils

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support services in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program at the Golden Field Office (GFO).

• Serve as a soil expert, leading the creation of technical sections within environmental documentation.

• Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality assurance in soil evaluations.

• Assist in the planning and implementation of projects within the NEPA team.

• Work collaboratively with internal personnel and external stakeholders to ensure precision and compliance in soils-related documentation.

• Engage in regular reviews, provide comprehensive technical analyses, and uphold meticulous documentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• A decade of experience in environmental analysis and documentation.

• In-depth knowledge of soils assessment and analysis.

• Familiarity with soil regulations and standards.

• Expertise in preparing technical sections pertinent to soils.

• Capability to perform technical reviews for soil assessments.

• Quality assurance proficiency for soils documentation.

• Strong collaboration abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe.
