This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver technical support services in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program.
• Perform environmental analyses of recipient data and information.
• Create draft documents, primarily focusing on categorical exclusions, as part of the NEPA review process.
• Provide reports to NEPA personnel concerning Environmental Questionnaire Verification Checklists, Statement of Project Objectives, and other supporting materials.
• Attend and document the outcomes of assigned meetings, public hearings, and phone conversations.
• Monitor and report on NEPA progress.
• Prepare documentation regarding interactions with agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, licensing, and permitting protocols.
• Assist in the development of environmental policy and training programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• A decade of experience in environmental analysis and documentation.
• Specialized expertise in noise pollution assessment and analysis.
• Familiarity with noise pollution regulations and standards.
• Competence in preparing technical sections pertaining to noise pollution.
• Capability to conduct technical reviews of noise pollution assessments.
• Quality assurance skills for noise pollution documentation.
• Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
