This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Perform in-depth reviews and analyses of environmental assessment documents to pinpoint potential effects on communities affected by environmental justice.
• Research environmental justice principles, regulations, and leading practices.
• Assist in the execution of FERC's Equity Action Plan.
• Create comprehensive reports that summarize findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Present findings and conclusions to stakeholders at FERC.
• A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline, concentrating on environmental justice and equity.
• Proven knowledge of environmental justice and equity principles, regulations, and policies.
• U.S. Citizenship is required - Applicants must be United States Citizens.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).
