Environmental Scientist – Air Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver Technical Support Services related to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program.

• Perform environmental analyses of recipient data and information.

• Create draft documents in accordance with the NEPA review process.

• Attend and document outcomes from assigned meetings, hearings, and phone calls.

• Monitor and report on NEPA progress.

• Assist in the development of environmental policy and training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental analysis and documentation.

• Comprehensive understanding of air quality assessment and analysis.

• Familiarity with air quality regulations and standards.

• Skilled in preparing technical sections related to air quality.

• Capability to conduct technical reviews of air quality assessments.

• Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
