Environmental Project Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Execute environmental due diligence activities for telecommunications and commercial real estate initiatives.

• Carry out Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs).

• Visit sites of wireless communication facilities and commercial properties.

• Document detailed field notes and capture photographs during site visits.

• Conduct reviews of regulatory agency files.

• Analyze historical data and environmental databases.

• Prepare standardized reports in accordance with ASTM E-1527-13 (AAI).

• Perform NEPA assessments and create template NEPA reports.

• Uphold quality assurance and quality control to meet the expectations of management and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, or related disciplines.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent work ethic.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Ability to perform fieldwork.

• Willingness to travel, with travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Capable of working independently.

• Committed to achieving excellence.

• Experience in conducting one or more assessments such as Phase I ESAs, NEPA assessments, Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), or Asbestos/lead-based paint inspections is preferred but not required.
