This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Accountable for acquiring knowledge and overseeing clients' extensive environmental programs.
• Facilitate project meetings and generate reports to relay project statuses within the client's project team.
• Directs the execution of the largest projects and client initiatives, encompassing strategy and facilitation.
• Collaborates with Terracon project teams to outline project scope, scale, schedule, and budget, while identifying optimal phasing strategies to align with the client’s programmatic and budgetary expectations.
• Guides interactions with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure coordination of projects or project components to fulfill the requirements of clients and stakeholders.
• Develop, communicate, and execute a project plan that includes a comprehensive project plan and timeline for project completion.
• Leads safety initiatives, ensuring Terracon project teams are prepared to comply with client-approved safety protocols. Holds Managers and Employees accountable for adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Address operational issues and assist Terracon project teams in marshaling resources across multiple project interfaces to reduce delays.
• Aids Terracon project teams in estimating costs, resources, and time necessary to accomplish clients’ programmatic objectives.
• Supports Terracon project teams with activity monitoring, resource allocation, and task assignments to guarantee adherence to clients’ deliverable deadlines.
• Collaborates with project managers to engage other departments or offices in securing specialized project resources.
• Mentor and coach project managers, helping them navigate challenges.
• Coordinate with Terracon project teams and project accounting to facilitate client invoicing and collections.
• Manage project-related risks. Ensure contracts are signed and fully executed before work commencement. Monitor compliance with corporate risk policies and practices.
• Hold Managers responsible for risk mitigation or elimination.
• Advocate for ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement on projects. Ensure adherence to best practices and hold Managers accountable for quality control standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and at least 15 years of experience in environmental planning and compliance within the U.S., or in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of relevant experience.
