• Develop environmental permits and reports for various projects, facilities, and operations for clients across multiple sectors such as e-commerce, transportation, and warehousing.
• Possess a high level of technical expertise in NPDES stormwater (industrial and MS4), SPCC, and RCRA.
• Knowledgeable about relevant environmental programs including, but not limited to, Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, minor source air permitting, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Offer technical guidance and mentor scientific staff to ensure that quality deliverables are produced promptly and accurately.
• Engage with clients to foster relationships through both onsite and virtual meetings; limited overnight travel, if needed, is expected to be less than 10%.
• Proven ability to manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets effectively.
• Evaluate environmental legislation and regulations to assess their impact on client operations.
• Define and cultivate your own professional development with support from senior management.
• Enjoy flexible working arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, or remote options, with occasional meetings at the office.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in consulting or industry.
• Capable of independently researching, reviewing, and advising on compliance with environmental regulations at the Federal, State, and Local levels, including SPCC, NPDES, discharge permitting, and hazardous waste management.
• Familiar with preparing discharge monitoring reports, annual reports, NECs, and NOIs.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and solve problems while ensuring quality and time management.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a collaborative work ethic.
• High safety awareness and a solid understanding of safe work practices.
• Exceptional writing skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite are essential.
