Entry-Level Software Developer – Application Support, Sustainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Develop and update documentation to empower enterprise support staff in effectively assisting tool users.

• Collaborate with support teams to create Tier 1 knowledge articles.

• Engage directly with users to diagnose root causes, resolve issues, and provide prompt solutions.

• Identify, test, and implement fixes or enhancements for current web applications.

• Conduct business analysis on system capabilities.

• Assist throughout the complete development life cycle, from gathering requirements to implementation.

• Maintain and support existing applications within the Supply Chain.

• Carry out triage, bug fixes, documentation, and enhancements for web-based solutions that range from simple to moderately complex.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree and less than 2 years of relevant prior experience.

• Some background in web application development.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Familiarity with the .NET Framework / MVC.

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Experience with C# or Java programming languages.

• Basic knowledge of SQL or MySQL.

• Exposure to the complete Microsoft development stack.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset.

• Effective organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Clear and professional communication skills, both oral and written.

• Capability to produce accurate and maintainable documentation.
