Entry-Level Software Developer – Application Support & Sustainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold documentation that empowers enterprise support staff to assist tool users effectively.

• Partner with support teams to create Tier 1 knowledge articles.

• Engage directly with users to pinpoint root causes, resolve issues, and provide prompt solutions.

• Diagnose, test, and implement fixes or improvements for current web applications.

• Conduct business analysis regarding system functionalities.

• Assist in the complete development life cycle from requirements gathering through to implementation.

• Maintain and support existing applications within the Supply Chain.

• Triage bugs, apply fixes, document solutions, and improve web-based applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.

• Some experience in web application development is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Familiarity with .NET Framework / MVC is preferred.

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred.

• Experience with C# or Java is preferred.

• Basic understanding of SQL or MySQL is preferred.

• Exposure to the complete Microsoft development stack is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative approach are essential.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills are necessary.

• Clear and professional communication skills, both oral and written, are required.

• Capacity to produce accurate and maintainable documentation.
