This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in lifting operations for equipment at heights exceeding 250’
• May need to supervise lifting activities after verifying skills for handling large components, along with the capability to create, review, modify, and update lifting plans
• Perform safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems
• Work under properly executed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and possibly act as an Authorized Person
• Engage in pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety briefings
• Maintain professional interactions with vendors and customers
• Accurately document all work in various electronic formats and provide insights to the Safety and Quality department for process enhancements
• At least 1 year of direct product experience on one or more platforms
• Specific experience with turbines is mandatory
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics from various Wind Turbine manufacturers
• Experience with Main Component Exchange (MCE) is essential, along with additional knowledge in lifting operations
• Must possess certifications from specific turbine manufacturers
• In-depth knowledge and skills regarding generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment
• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults
