Entry-Level Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer, EI/EIT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive forensic investigations related to structural failures and construction defects.

• Conduct site inspections and collect pertinent data to facilitate forensic analysis.

• Apply engineering principles and practices to evaluate and resolve structural concerns.

• Develop clear and succinct technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.

• Offer expert testimony in legal matters as needed.

• Remain updated on industry trends, codes, and standards pertinent to structural engineering.

• Travel regularly for site investigations.

• Assist with projects in the San Antonio and Houston areas.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Preferred: Licensed Engineer Intern (EI or EIT) or the capability to obtain licensure.

• Willingness to travel by road several days each week, including local and regional air travel.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
