Entry-Level Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of HITRUST assessments and associated IT compliance projects under the direction of engagement managers and senior consultants.

• Support the planning and execution of testing activities during both remote and on-site evaluations.

• Engage in discussions regarding scope to comprehend client environments, systems, and audit boundaries.

• Collect and analyze client data to assess internal controls and document the findings of the evaluation.

• Ensure the maintenance of precise workpapers and documentation in alignment with A-LIGN standards.

• Professionally communicate with clients to request necessary information, clarify requirements, and deliver updates.

• Work closely with team members to guarantee that projects are completed efficiently and punctually.

• Take part in training, coaching, and feedback sessions to continuously enhance technical and professional skills.

• Foster a culture of learning, quality, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Other relevant academic backgrounds may be considered.

• Coursework or academic exposure to IT, cybersecurity, risk management, auditing, or compliance principles.

• Internship, project experience, or academic involvement related to IT audit, information security, or compliance is advantageous.

• A strong desire to pursue industry certifications such as HITRUST CCSFP, CISA, CISSP, or similar credentials.
