This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Supports the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise-wide systems. Implements that strategy and vision effectively. Aids in consolidating technology solutions throughout the organization and aligns business requirements with technology systems;
• Assists in the creation of technical documentation to benefit systems and users, engages in the development of policies, procedures, and standards, and provides training and support to staff on system utilization, best practices, and data entry protocols;
• Aids in the implementation, customization, and management of the core enterprise systems that store constituent data;
• Develops and maintains data entry protocols, workflows, diagrams, and dictionaries, ensuring consistency and compliance with data management best practices;
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and execute system enhancements, workflows, and automation aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency;
• Acts as a subject matter expert for any inquiries related to systems, troubleshoots issues, addresses new technology requests, and communicates with technical support when required;
• Ensures adherence to data protection regulations while maintaining the confidentiality and security of constituent information;
• Remains updated on emerging trends, updates, and features in enterprise technology, recommending and implementing improvements as suitable;
• Performs additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required;
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required;
• Strong technical expertise in applications and software platforms (e.g., Revolution Online Inc, Engaging Networks, Salesforce) along with data management principles is required;
• Familiarity with database management, systems development lifecycle (SDLC), and business process design, with the capability to translate business requirements into scalable, effective solutions from inception to implementation;
• Experience in supporting CRM and constituent data systems, including collaboration with vendors and support for system configuration, integration, and continuous optimization;
• Knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) concepts and the ability to comprehend and convey relationships across systems and data flows;
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to deadlines in a dynamic environment;
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across teams, resolve conflicts, and offer training and support to users at all levels;
• Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for CRM and data management practices;
• Experience in supporting nonprofit fundraising activities and familiarity with donor management best practices;
• Demonstrated curiosity and a mindset of continuous learning, with an interest in exploring new tools, technologies, and systems;
• Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive, adaptable, and user-centric approach to systems support;
• A strong interest in animal protection issues is preferred.
