This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise-level clients within the renewable energy sector, encompassing solar manufacturers, EPCs, IPPs, and developers.
• Cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers across supply chain, logistics, procurement, and finance departments.
• Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution and transition to operations.
• Spearhead consultative sales initiatives centered on warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and value-added logistics services for renewable energy clients.
• Comprehend customer challenges associated with storage limitations, inventory optimization, risk management, seasonal demand, and project-based delivery timelines.
• Collaborate internally to design and present customized logistics and warehousing solutions, utilizing Kinect Solar’s national presence and value-added services.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet and surpass revenue goals.
• Adhere to disciplined CRM practices, including pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, proposal quality, and activity tracking.
• Provide leadership with regular forecasts, deal updates, and market insights.
• Work closely with operations, warehousing, transportation, finance, and customer success teams to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction.
• Assist in contract negotiations alongside internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on commercial terms and operational viability.
• Stay informed about renewable energy supply chain trends, logistics best practices, and competitive dynamics.
• Represent Kinect Solar at industry events, customer meetings, and conferences as required.
• Travel by vehicle or air as necessary to support customer engagement and business development.
• 5–7+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, 3PL, or renewable energy supply chains.
• Demonstrated success in selling logistics and warehousing solutions to enterprise customers.
• Strong comprehension of solar equipment logistics, including storage, transportation, and project-based delivery models.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen, including knowledge of financial metrics, lead/lag indicators, and deal economics.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating across teams.
