This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and expand a pipeline of enterprise opportunities within the group health ecosystem through strategic prospecting, leveraging existing relationships, and utilizing referral networks.
• Manage the complete consultative sales process from discovery and needs assessment to solution design, ROI modeling, contract negotiation, and closing—engaging with underwriting, actuarial, and C-suite stakeholders throughout the process.
• Create persuasive statements of work, pricing proposals, and executive-level business cases that effectively convey Gradient AI’s value to decision-makers in health plans and benefits.
• Cultivate a strong understanding of AI-driven underwriting and stop-loss analytics, and clearly articulate how our solutions enhance loss ratio improvement, operational efficiency, and portfolio growth for health insurance clients.
• Meet, achieve, and surpass monthly and annual sales targets; deliver precise forecasting and pipeline reporting in CRM.
• A bachelor's degree is required; 10+ years of enterprise SaaS or technology sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the health insurance sector.
• Proven track record of building and closing a book of business from the ground up; a proactive hunter mentality with demonstrated quota achievement at or above 100%.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities; experience conducting technical demos and developing ROI models specific to health insurance and benefits stakeholders.
• Previous experience engaging with complex buying committees, including Chief Actuaries, CMOs, VPs of Underwriting, and CFOs at health carriers and benefits organizations; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently within a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment; comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to action.
