This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Middle East.
• Configure, develop, and sustain enterprise integration workflows, microservices, and APIs from initial design to full deployment.
• Deliver reliable, thoroughly documented integrations that adhere to production telecom quality and reliability standards.
• Integrate essential telecom systems, including OSS, BSS, and CRM, with external applications and cloud services.
• Collaborate with platform, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure system connectivity.
• Implement service orchestration, message routing, data transformation, and API security utilizing Oracle OSB, Apigee, and 3Scale.
• Manage messaging systems, API gateways, and developer portals effectively.
• Identify and resolve integration bottlenecks, performance risks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Communicate updates, priorities, and trade-offs to technical leads and stakeholders.
• Collaborate daily with the client’s integration/platform team and report to the client’s technical lead.
• Operate within the defined scope and deliverables for the 12–18 month engagement.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in enterprise application integration and API development.
• Hands-on experience in delivering production integration workflows.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
• Practical experience with ESB and API Gateway platforms, such as Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Apigee, or 3Scale.
• Familiarity with messaging brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Practical knowledge of SQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to telecommunications OSS/BSS environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience in enterprise or large-scale distributed team settings is advantageous but not essential.
• Familiarity with AI platform integration or cloud-native service architectures is a plus but not required.
• Must supply own laptop and basic equipment.
• Must ensure reliable connectivity and maintain a secure working environment.
• Must adhere to required security protocols, including two-factor authentication.
• Contracting, invoicing/payroll, payments, and administrative support handled by Apricot.
• Scheduled check-ins in month 1 and month 3 to evaluate the engagement and resolve any issues.
• Any specialized equipment, leave, stipend, wellbeing benefits, or other support provided by the client may be offered as an approved exception.
