Enterprise Generative AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of enterprise generative AI capabilities, including ChatGPT Enterprise, custom GPTs, and associated tools.

• Aid teams in clarifying use cases, evaluating fit and risk, and determining a suitable delivery approach.

• Transform user feedback into prioritized requirements, reusable patterns, templates, and self-service guidance.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure responsible usage and effective governance.

• Facilitate pilots, workshops, office hours, and demonstrations that enhance confidence and reveal adoption challenges.

• Monitor adoption and feedback, subsequently relaying platform updates and improvement recommendations.

• Align user needs with platform capabilities to enhance adoption and measurable value at Amgen.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in enterprise technology, technical enablement, internal tools, product, solutions, or a related field.

• Familiarity with generative AI platforms, custom assistants or GPTs, and prevalent enterprise use cases.

• Capability to evaluate use cases for user value, feasibility, risk, and scalability.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear guidance.

• Effective collaboration with business, engineering, security, and governance partners.

• Experience with ChatGPT Enterprise, custom GPTs, or similar generative AI platforms is advantageous.

• Background in supporting technology adoption through training, office hours, or communities of practice is beneficial.

• Knowledge of responsible AI, privacy, information security, or access management is a plus.

• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or another regulated industry is desirable.

• Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in those areas.

• Relevant certifications in generative AI, cloud platforms, product management, program management, change management, or information security are a plus.

• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Curiosity, initiative, and a quick learning ability for new capabilities.

• Organized in managing priorities and following through on commitments.

• Collaborative and team-oriented approach when working with global and virtual partners.
