This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
⢠Take ownership of the territory strategy by identifying new opportunities, enhancing existing accounts, and creating a pipeline that ensures consistent over-achievement.
⢠Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to understand their business drivers, technical priorities, and decision-making processes.
⢠Collaborate closely with your Solutions Engineer to develop, position, and deliver impactful solutions that align with customer outcomes.
⢠Build and utilize robust relationships with channel partners (VARs) to generate demand, extend reach, and expedite deal execution.
⢠Manage complex sales cycles from start to finish, including discovery, qualification (MEDDICC), solution positioning, deal structuring, and closing.
⢠Ensure disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting, maintaining clear visibility into deal progression and potential risks.
⢠Balance in-quarter execution with long-term account planning, focusing on immediate results while also strategizing for multi-quarter growth.
⢠Coordinate internal resources such as Partner Managers, Specialists, and Customer Success to provide a seamless experience for customers.
⢠7+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
⢠Familiarity with selling NetApp technologies or related solutions within storage, data center, infrastructure, cloud, or data platforms.
⢠Demonstrated success in generating new business, including penetrating accounts, building a pipeline, and closing new opportunities.
⢠Strong background in a channel-driven sales model, effectively building and leveraging VAR relationships to increase revenue.
⢠Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineers, Partner Managers, and Specialists to secure complex deals.
⢠Highly disciplined in forecasting, managing pipelines, and executing deals.
⢠Strong business and financial acumen, capable of structuring deals, developing value propositions, and conveying ROI to executive stakeholders.
⢠Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences effectively.
⢠In-depth knowledge of enterprise sales cycles and the ability to navigate various stakeholders across IT, Finance, Procurement, and executive leadership.
⢠Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with a strong sense of accountability for results.
