
Enterprise Architect – Chief Architect for Agentic Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and spearhead the enterprise architecture for Nuvei’s implementation of agentic AI across Product, Software Engineering, and Platform Engineering.
• Establish and oversee the company-wide Agentic Delivery Lifecycle for the design, development, testing, approval, deployment, production access, and monitoring of agents.
• Create the agentic AI adoption roadmap that includes risk-based controls and approval checkpoints.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise agentic platforms, such as OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude Code, and other sanctioned alternatives.
• Develop MCP and model gateways, execution environments, skill registries, enterprise integrations, observability, auditability, availability, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Set standards for reusable agents, skills, workflows, orchestration, context, memory, tool usage, delegation, and human oversight.
• Architect and build MCP servers that securely connect models to enterprise applications, data, developer tools, and fintech APIs.
• Establish token economics, budgeting, quotas, alerts, allocation or chargeback models, and cost management strategies.
• Lead the architecture for the Agentic AI Center of Excellence, and publish reference architectures, playbooks, standards, and reusable templates.
• Create training programs, architecture forums, communities of practice, and certification initiatives; provide counsel to teams on pilot projects and production implementation.
• Define governance for agent ownership, accountability, approval processes, production access, and ongoing operations.
• Establish measures to prevent data leakage, prompt injection, hallucination, model misuse, unauthorized actions, and excessive autonomy.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and architecture review boards.
• Define and evaluate metrics for adoption, productivity, cycle time, code quality, reliability, risk, cost, and employee experience.
• Remediate or phase out underperforming and high-risk use cases, and update the roadmap as capabilities mature.
• Extensive experience in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture, including standards, governance, design evaluations, and technology roadmaps.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise AI, generative AI, or agentic AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of large language models, agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, tool invocation, context management, and human-in-the-loop architectures.
• Practical experience with OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and MCP servers, gateways, or similar integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management, API security, secrets management, data protection, observability, cloud architecture, CI/CD, and secure software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with AI risk management, model governance, privacy considerations, regulatory compliance, and controls in regulated settings.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with executive, technical, risk, and business stakeholders.
• Enterprise-focused and technically credible, striking a balance between innovation, security, resilience, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Pragmatic and outcome-driven, capable of transitioning from executive strategy to detailed architecture and execution.
• Persuasive communicator who can foster alignment across Product, Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business leadership.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required in most communications.
