This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the architecture throughout a client engagement — ensuring that technical decisions, business objectives, and delivery timelines are aligned from discovery to go-live.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding architecture and technical strategy, converting their business objectives into an AWS architecture that meets their needs.
• Lead client security assessments, compliance checks, and approval processes, and ensure that documentation is prepared correctly to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with Solution and Technical Architects, providing cross-system and cross-stakeholder context that keeps their designs consistent at the enterprise level.
• Conduct discovery sessions, develop the business case and ROI for modernization, and assist pre-sales with estimates and executive discussions.
• Establish standards, governance, and reusable playbooks that simplify future engagements — including a streamlined, repeatable approach to setting up greenfield AWS accounts.
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously without losing focus on any of them.
• Maintain the health of client relationships, identifying risks early and being the reliable point of contact for the client.
• Over 8 years of practical AWS architecture experience, with extensive knowledge of core services.
• More than 5 years designing and overseeing secure, scalable, and highly available systems within complex organizations.
• Proven history of managing client relationships and outcomes, not just technical deliverables.
• Comfortable interacting with regulated enterprise clients — you comprehend their security, compliance, and approval processes, and you possess credibility with their executives.
• Experience in consulting or professional services, where client relationship management is integral to the technical role.
• TOGAF certification, or equivalent experience applying a formal enterprise architecture framework in practice.
• Familiarity with Amazon Connect or other CCaaS/contact center solutions, including integration of AWS and Salesforce (Connect + Service Cloud Voice).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional or a relevant Specialty).
• Experience with AI/ML services such as Amazon Q, Bedrock, or SageMaker.
• Multi-cloud experience (Azure or GCP) alongside a primary focus on AWS.
