This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Establish and promote standards, guidelines, and architectural strategies across our product range.
• Take full responsibility for the overall architecture of applications.
• Guide decision-making and manage risks by steering architects and technology experts toward sound architectural choices.
• Influence the technical direction by ensuring alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Elevate team performance by providing mentorship and support to architects and development teams.
• Possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
• Have over 5 years of experience as an Architect and more than 10 years in Software Development.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of business processes and objectives.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in Polish and English (minimum B2) within a professional setting.
• Experience with at least one of the development stacks: .NET, PHP, Java, Python.
• Proven experience with various types of databases, including relational, graph, columnar, NoSQL, and more.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and approaches for cross-system communication.
• Comprehend the full spectrum from monolithic to microservices architectures, including trade-offs, migration paths, and readiness for each.
• Design systems for both single-tenant and multi-tenant environments, understanding the implications for data isolation, scalability, and operational complexity.
• Have successfully guided teams through architectural transitions, whether extracting services from a monolith or consolidating a fragmented microservices structure.
• Treat RFCs, ADRs, architecture documentation, and governance frameworks as valuable tools for team alignment rather than bureaucratic burdens.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, complemented by an empathetic personality.
• Inspire others with your charisma and passion for technology, engaging both junior and experienced experts alike.
• Have a genuine desire to support the growth of others, reinforced by hands-on experience in mentoring and coaching.
