This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Designs, analyzes, develops, tests, debugs, modifies, and documents moderately complex applications that require a comprehensive understanding of business applications and processes with minimal supervision.
• Provides mentorship and coaching to development staff.
• Offers guidance and training as needed, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices by the development team.
• Contributes to the development of established standards, guidelines, and processes, continually improving the development life cycle.
• Acts as a point of contact to address inquiries and provide technical leadership for the development team.
• Rapidly translates concepts and ideas into solutions by preparing detailed specifications that align with the IS development methodology for business application projects and customizations integrated with existing applications.
• Analyzes, designs, and modifies current business applications and processes, providing recommendations for system and process enhancements.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues related to the maintenance and support of business applications.
• Operates within a complex product and business environment that requires the ability to manage multiple requests effectively.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining focus on priority tasks.
• Collaborates with business and management teams to formulate efficient plans, processes, timelines, and work required to address all identified support and upgrade activities.
• Partners with end-users and technical staff to diagnose and resolve issues concerning various business processes.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible development experience is required.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are vital.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with business process management software, including development, validation, and testing of proper workflow progressions, is highly desirable.
• Ability to transform concepts and ideas into completed solutions through collaboration with business users of varying experience levels.
• Proficient in managing projects within a full lifecycle environment.
• A solid understanding of, and some experience with, web services is necessary.
• Experience with reporting services through SSRS and the ability to extract data from multiple databases (SQL Server, Workday, etc.) to create dashboards or reports is required.
• Prior experience with a software configuration management system, bug-tracking system, and business object frameworks is essential.
• Experience in a SaaS environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite of Products is a plus.
• Strong customer support, systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and listening skills are required.
