This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and implement a strategic go-to-market plan for public-sector growth across Ireland.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of strategic accounts within the Irish Government.
• Identify and target new opportunities within unengaged departments and agencies.
• Convert national and departmental priorities into Data and AI value propositions, executive discussions, business cases, and qualified leads.
• Map and engage with buying centres, foster champions, guide opportunities, and expedite decision-making processes.
• Execute a consumption-led sales strategy and enhance usage over time.
• Manage quick wins while navigating complex public-sector sales cycles.
• Establish and maintain renewal and expansion initiatives within existing accounts.
• Coordinate professional services, training, systems integrators, and hyperscaler co-sell resources.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior government stakeholders on behalf of Databricks.
• Achieve technical and business results through the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding quotas when selling to public-sector accounts, preferably in Ireland or a similar market.
• Capability to develop territory or market-level go-to-market strategies, generate demand, and drive growth beyond the existing account base.
• Experience in managing a strategic account portfolio through transitions, inherited relationships, and new business development.
• Familiarity with Irish Government structures, priorities, procurement frameworks, and public-sector technology funding and approval processes.
• Sales experience in cloud software, data platforms, open-source technology, Data and AI, or related enterprise technology sectors.
• Background in selling usage-based or consumption-based models and collaborating with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with land-and-expand strategies and greenfield business development.
• Ability to identify pertinent use cases and buying centres.
• Experience in co-developing business cases and cultivating relationships with C-level executives and senior civil-service stakeholders.
• Proficiency in building champions, collaborative account teams, and strategic partnerships.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Value Selling, or similar structured sales methodologies, with a focus on disciplined and accurate forecasting.
• Consistent history of delivering results and making significant contributions.
• Eligibility for security clearance; existing clearance is a plus.
