This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop and implement comprehensive multi-year (3–5 year) account strategies that align with customer business goals, capital initiatives, and digital transformation plans.
• Identify, assess, and advance new opportunities within untapped mining accounts.
• Facilitate the identification of opportunities, qualification, pipeline oversight, and forecasting throughout the designated territory.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the challenges and trends within the mining industry.
• Exhibit strong technical expertise and business insight across areas such as data management, enterprise storage, cybersecurity, analytics, and data resilience.
• Establish trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, operational stakeholders, and procurement teams.
• Position yourself as a trusted strategic advisor.
• Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and final deal closures.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development.
• Proven track record of selling to the Mining and/or Energy sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and large strategic accounts.
• A strong blend of technical expertise and commercial insight.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT procurement processes and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
