This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Achieve or surpass an annual quota of over $1M through new and expanded opportunities within enterprise districts.
• Build and oversee a strong, multi-opportunity pipeline within each designated district.
• Broaden RethinkEd’s presence across various departments, programs, and initiatives within large urban school systems.
• Develop trusted relationships with senior district leaders and functional owners within Special Education, MTSS, Student Services, Curriculum & Instruction, and related areas.
• Navigate the intricate procurement, contracting, and funding processes typical of large districts.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Services, Marketing, and Enablement to ensure long-term district success, renewals, and growth.
• Lead sales efforts with the largest and most complex school districts in the nation.
• Manage a select number of high-value districts while handling multiple concurrent opportunities within each account.
• Conduct thorough account planning and build multithreaded relationships across executive, programmatic, and operational stakeholders.
• Profound understanding of the structures and decision-making processes in large urban school districts.
• Ability to manage lengthy, complex sales cycles with several parallel opportunities.
• Strong skills in account planning and opportunity orchestration.
• Proficient in qualifying, prioritizing, and sequencing deals within a single account.
• Expertise in aligning multiple stakeholder priorities to create a cohesive district narrative.
• Confidence in engaging with senior leaders while maintaining momentum with stakeholders.
• Data-driven approach to sales management.
• Experience with CRM systems and productivity tools.
• 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in K–12 education, EdTech, or complex SaaS environments.
• Proven track record of success in selling to large urban school districts.
• Experience managing quotas exceeding $1M and enterprise-level accounts.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple opportunities within a single large account.
• Strong understanding of district procurement, contracting, and funding structures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
