This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various internal teams to cultivate new business opportunities, from the initial prospecting phase through to negotiation and contract finalization.

• Achieve and surpass your sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.

• Innovatively source new prospects and strategically position Rapid7's solutions to meet their needs, serving as a trusted advisor.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and developments in the cybersecurity and cloud sectors, showcasing credibility and expertise to our prospects and clients.

• Transform client feedback into actionable strategies to foster new business development, influence client decisions, and advocate for client needs to negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.

• Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with diverse functional teams such as Channel, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing account growth.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive sales experience in a software or technology organization, preferably within the Cybersecurity field.

• Demonstrated history of successfully driving revenue through prospecting, generating new business, and sustainably expanding existing accounts.

• Takes full responsibility for meeting their targets, approaching goal attainment with persistence, determination, and a strong desire to succeed.

• An entrepreneurial sales mindset with the ability to work independently by breaking objectives into actionable steps.

• Utilizes Strategic Doing to identify opportunities, foster trust-based client relationships, and drive sustainable growth in the dynamic security sector.

• Quick learner who can adapt to rapidly changing business priorities.

• A collaborative team player who works effectively across functions and as part of a high-performing team.

• Driven and tenacious, with a competitive spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

• Flexible and adaptable, able to modify style and approach in response to changing circumstances.

• Willingness to travel weekly for customer and partner meetings.
