English to Canadian French Linguists, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Become a member of our freelance translators and machine translation post-editors team for the English to Canadian French language pair.

• Communicate effectively in English with international team members who do not speak French.

• Collaborate with colleagues based outside the province of Quebec.

• Submit your CV in English, including detailed information about your translation and machine translation post-editing experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native speaker of Canadian French with fluency in English.

• Possession of a translation degree and/or extensive professional translation experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation and localization.

• Familiarity with machine translation post-editing.

• Background in video game localization and/or a strong passion for video games.

• Proficient in the use of CAT tools.

• A meticulous and methodical mindset with great attention to detail.
