English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and revise English courses, ensuring a captivating program that enhances students' proficiency in real-life contexts.

• Instruct according to a curriculum tailored for immigration, academia, and business purposes.

• Plan and contribute to the development of instructional materials.

• Assess and evaluate students' proficiency levels and learning needs in English.

• Organize and conduct preparation sessions for official international examinations for students.

• Design, evaluate, and guide each student's language proficiency to ensure readiness for job interviews when required.

• Analyze students' language requirements and plan lessons according to the syllabus and their progress reports for the respective levels.

• Foster an environment that encourages all students to express themselves, engage, collaborate, and take initiative.

• Monitor progress and meet with students individually based on the details provided in their progress reports.

• Enhance students' vocabulary for both formal and informal scenarios, including dialogues, discussions, and role-playing activities.

• Motivate and assist students in self-correction.

• Assess and offer constructive feedback to students to boost their confidence in using English.

• Perform other related duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional qualification in foreign language teaching / Language teaching certificate.

• A recognized credential in Teaching English such as **CELTA/TESL/TEFL/TESOL/TKT/TRINITY**.

• Fluency in at least two languages: English and Spanish or English and French.
